nice and simple piece. I love the subtlety of the colours and the tones; looking at this would calm me down on any bad day. personally I've always been fascinated by the transculent texture of flower petals and fruits, but even with such a small area to work with, you've pulled it off really well. the composition is sensational- the position of the sea star in between the blur of the black shapes is just right, but what exactly is behind the glass?
this photograph also has a child-like quality, as if you are bringing us back to our childhood, where we would most certainly have been intrigued by the smallest things in life, ignoring the bigger, often bleak, picture of the uglier world. it reminds of the potato stamps I used to play with when I was little.
I also saw your clover piece, and I think it would be amazing if you shot a whole series of photographs with a variety of green, transculent objects, for example, a slice of cucumber on a glass pane, backed by the blurred image of a beach or shoreline. you could even arrange a set of four photographs corner to corner in one file. just a thought.
I was considering whether or not to write this in French; in the end I decided not to embarass myself with my bad grammar. but anyway, c'est excellent et je voudrais voir plus de votre art! keep it up!
